Thomas Birsak draws inspiration from figures and objects in everyday life and from an intuitive, associative way of working. In his work, he constantly moves between the figurative and the abstract, playing with composition, proportions, color, and the addition or omission of details. His visual language is characterized by a simple and childlike perspective, which gives the images a strong and recognizable character.

Thomas studied Graphic Design at the Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) and currently lives and works in Arnhem.
